TIVOLI is a treasure hunt through consigned and vintage clothing, furniture and home decor, all styled into vignettes that swing from earthy to glam depending on which corner you're standing in. The name is a little joke: spelled backward, it reads I LOV IT. The owners source the stock locally from Marin estates, which is why the racks turn up furs, cowboy hats, cocktail dresses, boots, blazers, cashmere sweaters and handbags next to mid-century furniture and small decorative pieces with some history. TIVOLI Men's Den, a menswear annex, sits directly across the street at 310 Caledonia. Between the two, and marked by colorful flags out front, this has become Caledonia Street's resale hub for locals and visitors alike.
What To Expect
This is curated vintage and consignment, not a thrift-store grab bag. Clothing, decor and furniture are mixed together, and the stock changes fast enough that a repeat visit rarely turns up the same inventory. Prices vary with what you pick up, and the fun is in the range, from a scarf or handbag you can carry onto the ferry to a piece of furniture you would need to arrange to have shipped or hauled. Getting There
The main store is at 333B Caledonia Street, and Caledonia runs parallel to Bridgeway a block inland, roughly a ten-minute walk on foot from the ferry landing. The Men's Den is across the street at 310, so you can do both in a single pass. The street is quieter than Bridgeway, with cafes and restaurants nearby for a coffee break between racks.

Both storefronts are open every day, 11 to 5, and share one phone number, (415) 559-7149. The Men's Den is a separate storefront across the street, not a section inside the main shop, so if you're shopping for a man, head over there. Large furniture is easier to buy if you drive, so plan your ferry day around carry-on-size finds.
Our Take
Set aside more time here than you'd expect for a Caledonia Street stop. It rewards actually digging, not a quick walk-through, and it's the closest thing this town has to a proper vintage crawl. Go on a weekday afternoon if you can and check the ferry schedule before you settle into the furniture section, because it's easy to lose an hour.
