Keychains, greeting cards, mugs and T-shirts sit next to a shelf of Sausalito-specific books, and the Chamber of Commerce listing says the racks include name brands such as Levi's and Columbia, though the lineup changes. The same listing also names Superdry, Reef and TOMS, so it is worth a look if you left a jacket or sandals behind and the bay breeze turns cold. It is less a boutique than a proper souvenir store, sized to match the volume of ferry traffic that walks past its door every day. That range of stock makes it useful when you're buying for a mixed group of friends and relatives back home.
What To Expect
Souvenir-forward inventory at a broader range of price points than the specialty boutiques nearby. It's the practical stop, not the curated one, and the store is big enough that you won't feel like you're in everyone's way, even on a crowded summer Saturday. Because it is open every day and stays open until early evening, it also works as a fallback when a gallery you meant to visit turns out to be closed for the day.
Getting There
The shop is at 684 Bridgeway, in the middle of downtown and a short stroll from the ferry landing, so most visitors pass it within minutes of stepping off the boat.
