A waterfront park a short walk south of downtown with a big lawn, a gazebo, bocce and sand volleyball courts, and direct bay access for kayaks and paddleboards. It's the closest thing Sausalito has to a town green, and it's dog-friendly.

What To Expect

Reopened in 2020 after a redevelopment, the park has a gazebo, three bocce courts, a sand volleyball court, a launch area for small hand-carried boats, and a tiny beach that shows up at low tide. A farmers market runs in the parking lot every Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the city's annual Chili Cook-Off takes over the park each September.

Getting There

On Bridgeway about a 10-minute walk south of the main downtown strip, with a free parking lot on site — a rarity close to the water in Sausalito.

Good To Know

Open daily, free, with public restrooms and a drinking fountain. Bring your own kayak or paddleboard if you're launching here — this isn't a rental spot, that's Schoonmaker Point Beach a bit further north. Note the parking lot closes to cars during the Sunday farmers market.
