Baja-style tacos with a California twist — fast, casual, and one of the few genuinely inexpensive options left on a pricey stretch of Bridgeway. The rooster logo out front and the beach-shack blue-and-red paint job give it away before you're close enough to read the menu board.
Atmosphere
Order-at-the-counter casual, a few outdoor tables, nothing fussy — plastic chairs, string lights, and a chalkboard specials list that changes more than the printed menu does. It's the kind of place you eat standing up half the time and don't mind.
What To Order
The fish tacos, Baja-style — battered, not grilled, if you want the classic version. The horchata is worth a try too, especially on a warm afternoon when a sit-down lunch would feel like too much.
Good To Know
A local favorite since 2002 and family-owned for more than two decades now. One of the better lunch stops if you're trying to keep a Sausalito day from turning into an expensive one — a full meal here costs a fraction of what the waterfront restaurants charge for an appetizer. Seating is limited and mostly outdoors across two heated covered patios and a sun patio, so it's better as a quick stop than a long lingering lunch. Dogs are welcome, and there's a proper vegetarian and vegan menu if that matters to your group.

A genuinely good, unpretentious lunch on a street that can otherwise wear out your wallet by 1 p.m. Grab tacos here and eat them on a bench by the water instead of paying double for the same view at a sit-down restaurant.
