Recent sunset tickets on the Freda B have run roughly $97 to $107 per person, and listings show evening sails lasting about two hours, though times vary by date. The Freda B carries from 2 to 49 passengers on private and public trips. Private charters cover weddings, proposals, corporate outings, and memorials, and those are priced by boat and trip length, so request a quote. Special-event sails, such as Fleet Week Blue Angels viewing and holiday fireworks cruises, sell out early. Dress warmer than you think you need to, because the bay gets cold once the sun drops, and layers beat a bulky coat. The Freda B boards at Slip 465 in the Sausalito Yacht Harbor, off Bay Street in downtown Sausalito, a short walk from the ferry landing. The company's office address is 1001 Bridgeway. Other vessels may leave from different docks, so confirm the boarding spot on your ticket or booking email. If you're coming from San Francisco, take the ferry over and walk. It saves you the parking hunt and puts you in a good mood before the sail.
