Sausalito's main kayak and stand-up-paddleboard outfitter, launching from a dock next to the Bay Model Visitor Center. Rentals come with everything you need — boat, paddle, and life jacket — and guided trips run for people who'd rather not navigate the bay solo their first time out.
What To Expect
Open daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., year-round. Book ahead on weekends and summer afternoons, when the calm water and easy access make this one of the busiest paddling spots on the bay.
Getting There
At 2100 Bridgeway, about a mile north of downtown — walkable, but easier by bike or a short drive, with parking on site.
Good To Know
Sea Trek launches from Richardson Bay right next to the Bay Model, in water sheltered enough by the yacht harbor breakwater that it's a genuinely good spot for a first-time paddle, not just experienced kayakers. Active-duty and veteran service members get 50% off rentals.
